It’s time to celebrate! The Cleveland Council on World Affairs (CCWA) was founded in 1923, which means that this year we are turning 100 years old. Join us as we celebrate this milestone birthday!

The Cleveland Council on World Affairs is commemorating this momentous occasion with a very special birthday party: CCWA’s Centennial Open House and Day of Giving. On May 19, 2023, please consider making a birthday donation to CCWA in celebration of our 100 years. Then, head downtown to our office for some cake, balloons, and international birthday songs! The office will be open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, where staff will be happy to provide a tour of our recently renovated space. A slideshow of photos from our first century will be featured all day, and a historical CCWA film will be shown at noon.

This celebration is an opportunity for you to ensure that our programs can continue to encourage the Cleveland community’s engagement in world affairs. It is also an important opportunity for us to gather together and celebrate our 100th birthday with all of you who have made it possible!
