With deadlines fast approaching, and negotiations still ongoing, the fates of Brexit and the European Union remain very uncertain. Cathryn Cluver Ashbrook, Executive Director of the Future of Diplomacy Project and the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship at the Harvard Kennedy School, will address the future of transatlantic relations and NATO in light of Brexit and regional political shifts. In what ways will Brexit affect Europe’s future? How will Brexit change U.S.-European relations?
Cathryn Cluver Ashbrook is the founding Executive Director of the Future of Diplomacy Project, which examines the challenges in negotiations and statecraft in the 21st century. Additionally, Ashbrook was named Executive Director of the Project on Europe and the Transatlantic Relationship in 2018, where she analyzes the relationship between the United States and Europe.
