CCWA will host a group of 12 students (ages 18-19) from Ukraine through the American Leadership Exchange Program (ALEX) sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and American Councils for International Exchange. The program will focus on leadership development and will take place October 26 – November 2, 2023. We are seeking Homestay Hosts who can welcome 1-2 students into their home from October 26 – November 2, 2023.
For interested hosts: Each student must have their own bed, though they may share a room with a student of the same gender. (Air mattresses are not permitted.) We ask that students be provided breakfast and that they be included in family meals in the evening. On weekdays, students will engage in educational programming with transportation and lunches provided by CCWA. Students will have the weekend and most evenings free to spend time with their host families. A home visit and background check must be completed prior to hosting.
