The Cleveland Council on World Affairs and The City Club of Cleveland are pleased to present a forum on the United States’ debt structure and the impact of America’s debt on our global economic competitiveness.
Join us for a conversation with Paul Stebbins on the fiscal and political environment and how it has never been more perilous. Trillion dollar deficits are set to return within the next two years with our already record high national debt set to skyrocket over the coming decade. We will also discuss how the national debt โ and our political dysfunction โ make us less competitive, hurts our economy, challenges our global economic leadership.
Stebbins is a founder, former CEO, and Chairman Emeritus of World Fuel Services, a Fortune 100 Company in Miami, FL. He is a founder of the Fix US initiative, a project of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget and the Campaign to Fix the Debt.
